The Fall 2024 Accounting Careers Workshop, being held this year on Friday, September 27th at the Norris Conference Center, is your opportunity to meet CPAs who work in a variety of careers, talk with recruiters about upcoming internship opportunities and become a first-time student member of the Texas Society of CPAs gratis.
Professional Leadership Development
The Fall 2024 Professional Leadership Development event is centered around creating your professional brand, growing your professional portfolio, crafting your elevator speech, and embarking on your leadership journey. With a variety of panelists there will be ample opportunity for you to strengthen your skills and provide the steppingstones to emerge as a future leader. This year's Leadership Development will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at The Shrine Auditorium San Antonio
2025 Meet the Firms
We are excited to be hosting yet another good ol' fashioned Meet the Firms event! This type of event offers an enormous benefit to both students and sponsors alike by bringing both groups together in one room! Students will have the chance to get in front of a large number of firms and organizations to hear about potential internships and opportunities being offered. The conversations held at this event are sure to springboard the careers of young CPAs to be! This year's Meet the Firms is scheduled for Friday, February 7th, 2025 at La Quinta - Medical Center.
2024 Blue Santa
Blue Santa involves TXCPA-SA members, family, and friends collecting toys and financial donations for the San Antonio Police Department’s Blue Santa program. This year's toy drive will culminate with the Blue Santa Luncheon on December 12th being held at the Embassy Suites Landmark Hotel, where we will pool all of the toys that have been collected by members and load them into SAPD's collection truck.
