Even the most diligent taxpayers can find themselves defending against an audit assessment or refund claim denial.  Recent changes in Texas tax law also creates new avenues and potential opportunities to effectively do so.

  1. An overview of the procedural avenues for challenging an assessment or refund claim denial by the Texas Comptroller.
  2. Recent Developments in this area and some pros and cons associated with each.
