TXCPA Privacy Policy

The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (“TXCPA”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. Information about members of the Texas Society of CPAs, including email addresses, telephone numbers and other information stored in the TXCPA member database is solely the property of TXCPA.

We may share your information with companies (including our affiliates) that perform services on our behalf. Our service providers are required by contract to protect the confidentiality of the information we share with them and to use it only to provide specific services on our behalf. 

The extraction of large amounts of information from the TXCPA database, sometimes referred as “data mining”, is expressly prohibited. No one, member or non-member, may gain access to the “Member Directory” on TXCPA Exchange in order to “mine” member data.

Members of TXCPA are allowed to search the member database through the “Member Directory” on TXCPA Exchange for individual members, subject to the provisions and restrictions of this Privacy Policy.

Non-members of the TXCPA are forbidden from utilizing the TXCPA web site to search for member information.

Member of TXCPA will receive communications by email, text messages and mail that are designed to keep them up-to-date on the profession and the benefits of membership in TXCPA. These communications may include commercial content such as information about educational courses, affinity programs, and other membership-related benefits. Members may manage their subscriptions to these communications by opting out of any or all messages.

This website uses cookies to store information about visitors' preferences, to record user-specific information on which pages the site visitor accesses or visits, and to personalize or customize web page content based upon visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.
