This introductory workshop on Power BI for accounting professionals is designed for those with little or no experience in the platform. We will cover the essentials to get you started with this powerful tool.  You will receive step-by-step instructions for practicing on your own. Overall, the session will empower you with a foundation for leveraging Power BI to enhance your decision-making and analysis.

Learning Objectives:

  1. You will learn about Power BI’s components, key features, and how they compare with those in Excel.
  2. You will learn how to import and transform data from various sources, create visualizations, and build dashboards that turn data into information.
