Our August 27 the TXCPA Central Texas Chapter Meeting will include a One-Hour CPE planned by the TXCPA Central Texas Business, Industry, and Education Committee and a Networking Happy Hour. This in-person event will be held at JRBT, 5400 Bosque Boulevard, 4th Floor Conference Room, Waco, TX 76710 (Map).

This event is the perfect opportunity to expand your professional network and earn a valuable CPE credit. You do not need to be a CPA to attend as all business professionals are welcome - invite your co-workers and friends! Public practice CPAs can also invite their clients.
This introductory workshop on Power BI for accounting professionals is designed for those with little or no experience in the platform. We will cover the essentials to get you started with this powerful tool. You will receive step-by-step instructions for practicing on your own. Overall, the session will empower you with a foundation for leveraging Power BI to enhance your decision-making and analysis.
Learning Objectives:
- You will learn about Power BI’s components, key features, and how they compare with those in Excel.
- You will learn how to import and transform data from various sources, create visualizations, and build dashboards that turn data into information.
