Supporting the Next Generation of CPAs: A New Initiative by TXCPA Fort Worth
The Board of Directors at TXCPA Fort Worth has recognized the importance of supporting and empowering the next generation of CPAs in our community. To this end, they have partnered with TXCPA's Accounting Education Foundation to raise funds for scholarship distribution. This initiative aims to provide financial support to students who have graduated from a high school or are currently attending a college or university in Erath, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise counties, provided they meet the TXCPA AEF’s scholarship requirements.
To celebrate and support this important initiative, a black-tie ball will be held on October 25, 2024, at the historic Ashton Depot in downtown Fort Worth. The event, titled "Counting by Candlelight: A Masquerade Affair," will bring together chapter members and supporters for an evening of elegance and philanthropy. We encourage all members to buy a table, ticket, or phantom ticket to contribute to this worthy cause.
