Huandong “Mary” Faris, CPA

2022-2023 TXCPA HOUSTON SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION BY A MEMBER IN INDUSTRY 

Mary is a true advocate for mentoring. She knows what it takes to be a good mentor because she sought out excellent mentors for herself. Now, she has become an excellent mentor to many of her colleagues.

Her professional road has not been easy.  She moved to the United States as a young adult without knowing how to speak English. Not only did she learn English, but she earned a BBA in Accounting, an MBA in Management, and her CPA.

Since then, she shares her talents with several professional organizations, including TXCPA Houston, where she serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the CFO/Controllers Conference Committee.
