Profile Update
How can I update my member profile and/or contact details?
Thank you for keeping your member record up to date. To change the contact information associated with your account, follow these steps:
1. Log into your member profile
2. Click on the Contact Info tab.
3. In the Personal Information box, click Edit.
4. Enter your new information and click Update.
If you have a change to your employer address, follow these steps:
1. Log into your member profile
2. Click on the Contact Info tab.
3. In the Employer Information box and follow the instructions to either select an employer from the dropdown list or submit employer details for a company not in the dropdown list.
4. Click Update. (Note: employer address changes are done by a member service representative and will appear on your record within 1-2 business days.
*** A name change on account must be completed by a TXCPA Member Service Representative.
Please note that if you have registered for any upcoming events or courses with your previous name, it may still appear on your registration confirmation or name badge. However, this will not affect your registration or credits.
Changes with TXCPA are NOT reflected on your CPA license. To change your name on your license, you will need to contact the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA). Below is the website to access the TSBPA, in addition to the link to access the TSBPA Licensing Name Change Form.
