The TXCPA Permian Basin Board of Directors is thrilled to announce that $5,000 from this year's scholarship fundraising has been set aside to support CPA exam candidates. We understand that preparing for the CPA exam can pose significant financial challenges, particularly with travel and exam fees. This funding aims to alleviate some of those costs, reflecting our commitment to nurturing the future of the profession and supporting the next generation of CPAs.
To qualify, candidates must be TXCPA Permian Basin members, with membership verified upon submission. (Not a member yet? Join here.) Eligible candidates can receive reimbursement of up to $250 for mileage and hotel expenses, applicable for a maximum of two exams per candidate (note: reimbursement for the same exam cannot be claimed twice). Funds will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To obtain reimbursement, candidates must submit receipts and proof of exam completion within 30 days of the exam date.
