There are several events throughout the year with corporate partnerships opportunities:
Donor Restricted Scholarships
In 2004, TXCPA Austin established its Scholarship Fund. Since then, it has awarded tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships to junior, senior and graduate students who plan to become CPAs and enter
the accounting profession. TXCPA Austin is pleased to announce it now offers Donor Restricted Scholarships: A person or company may donate directly to a scholarship.
Networking Events
Most years two larger after-work events are scheduled shortly following the major tax deadlines of April 15 and October 15. Corporate sponsorships
subsidize the cost of food for the members.
Newsletter
The TXCPA Austin's e-newsletter is published monthly to more than 3,000 CPAs and business professionals in the greater Austin area. Newsletter Sponsorship Info range from traditional business card-type placement to full newsletter sponsorship.
Volunteer Appreciation Event
TXCPA
Austin could not get anything accomplished without the assistance of its wonderful member volunteers. A party to thank them is given in either April or May. Corporate partnerships subsidize the fees associated with food and entertainment.
Pathway to Leadership
TXCPA Austin is excited to offer the popular and successful Pathway to Leadership program. The program is a flexible, value-driven professional development series which covers various leadership topics from “Assertive Communication in Difficult Conversations”, “Remote
Workforce Leadership”, “Emotional Intelligence” and others. Two-hour virtual CPE classes are offered once a month from August through May. Sponsors would have the opportunity to join in on the classes and speak to the attendees
prior to the course beginning. They would also be invited to the in-person graduation event hosted for participants who complete the course.
Various Other Opportunities
This could include sponsoring future CPA/student and new CPA events, required Ethics courses and a variety of other activities planned throughout the year.
