TXCPA Austin and Austin Community College invite employers and students to attend a career fair on November 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at ACC’s Highland Campus. Employers have the opportunity to connect with talented students eager to join the workforce, while students can explore job openings, internships, and network with some of Austin’s top employers. Registration is open for both employers looking to recruit and students ready to take the next step in their careers.
Anderson HS Internship Program
As we gear up for another exciting year for our Anderson@work business internship program, I am reaching out with hope you are interested in participating for the 2024-2025 year and to gather information to create a resource for students to reach out to business partners directly.
To facilitate this process, I have created a Google Form for interested businesses to complete. The information gathered through this form will help students determine opportunities that align with their interests and skill sets. The spreadsheet containing the details of participating businesses will be shared with students mid-May, allowing students to reach out directly to potential employers.
The internship is scheduled to begin on August 29 and I encourage students to secure a position by August 1. Once a business has interviewed and offered a student a position, please inform me via email so I can update our records accordingly and other students will know the opportunity is no longer available.
Your participation in this program makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our aspiring young professionals while also contributing to the growth and development of our community.
